We bought dei Sugo al Basilico for the first time after the "modernization" of the Agnesi labels. Has the recipe been changed as well as the label?
The sauce was much sweeter than before and we didn't like it at all. Almost like ketchup ... ürks! Or did we just get a batch that accidentally had too much sugar in it?
Has anyone else noticed this?

Do you have the best-before date and the LOT number so that we can check whether something went wrong in production?

Thank you very much for your clarifications. The date is 20-05-2018, and the LOT number is LS140 07:34.
I'm curious - since even my children noticed the sweetness, I don't assume that my taste buds were playing tricks on me.

The review of the relevant batch has now been completed. We apologize that this took a little longer.
According to the feedback from our supplier, we were unable to detect any deviations in the recipe in our retained samples. Unfortunately, your sugo must be an isolated case - we are really sorry about that.
If you notice any other deviations, you are welcome to contact customer service directly. They will then check it on site.
