Every summer I wish for a delicious After Eight Glacé [o.k. - at Migros it would probably be called "Après neuf" :-)] from Crème d'Or, which reminds me of my vacation and puts me in a summer mood! Wouldn't that be an idea for a seasonal edition?

Why "Après neuf" and not "Après huit"? :-)
I love mint ice cream topped with dark chocolate and whipped cream (glace à la menthe et sauce au chocolat avec crème chantilly).
I make the ice cream myself using a recipe from Swissmilk:

I would buy an ice cream like this for my LAG immediately.
Mint glacé with chocolate chips is a dream! Available everywhere in England and the USA. Partly in Switzerland also in some gelateria's (Sihlcity)!
So Migros, summer is coming soon ;-)

last August was the time to try ice cream. As you can see from the article, http://www.migipedia.ch/de/node/159201, an "After-Eight" version from "nin82" was also in the running. This ice cream creation scored the most points compared to the eventual winner, Swiss Chilbi, which failed in my eyes!

I also have to say that Midor has created a great mix of mint glacé and dark chocolate chips. It could have gone straight into production like this for all I care ☺
