Years ago there was an advent calendar for cats/dogs.
Of course, this made the pet owner happier than the animal, but it was a really great idea, especially as a gift.

Exactly, behind every little door there was a plastic bag with 6-7 mini dry goodies. :))) my cat had a lot of fun
Cool, I would definitely buy this for my cat too. At least there's no risk of opening all the doors at once and eating the contents yourself :P

Thank you very much for this suggestion! I would be very happy to pass this idea on to the product managers. There are hardly any limits to your imagination when it comes to the contents, just like with Advent calendars for us humans.
Personally, I love homemade Advent calendars - maybe that would be something for your four-legged friends too? :-)

Yes, I bought these advent calendars back then too!
It was great fun to spoil my three spoiled indoor cats even more. But only with one calendar! As the three of them can sometimes be quite fussy, the amount of cat treats was always enough for all of them.
I would certainly buy again.
Ps. I think these advent calendars are still available in Fressnapf, I haven't seen any in an advertising leaflet for a long time.

I have been told by those responsible for the pet range that these calendars were unfortunately very unpopular in the past and we have therefore taken them out of the range again. However, now that we have received a few votes in favor of such a calendar, we are going to look into the idea again.
For this Christmas, I can recommend our Christmas gift box for cats and dogs as an alternative. These will be available in Migros stores at the beginning of December. Maybe this is also something for your cats and dogs?
