Place in hot water, the heat dissolves any glue and you can rub off the label on jam jars with your thumb, for example.
The tip is good for many Migros jars, but not comprehensive. There are some jars, e.g. M-Budget products and especially jars with branded products from Italy (such as Barilla), from which the labels can only be removed with great effort. Once the paper is gone, you still have to rub off the adhesive residue with white spirit or rubbing alcohol.

But of course they should also be easy to remove. Finding the right balance is sometimes not so easy. We recommend that you apply some oil (cooking or body oil) to the label or the glue residue, leave it to soak in and then wipe it off with a cloth. You can also heat and soften the glue with a hair dryer first. This makes it easier to remove the label. You can also use our Potz Expert sticker remover from the supermarket range or the Klebex adhesive remover to remove residues. We assure you that we are constantly working on optimizing the adhesive composition, but if you put the jar in the glass collection, it is not necessary to remove the label, just for your information. With a little good will, it is easily possible to use adhesive for labeling that allows residue-free removal. The best example is Nutella jars: they are always flawless after the dishwasher cycle. The label can be fished out of the machine completely intact and, if you like, even disposed of in the waste paper.
