It didn’t work out at two different stores. At the first one, the saleswoman snapped at me when I asked her if she’d scanned my card… “How am I supposed to know that…” (a specific question, since she had the scanner in her hand) and yesterday—on my 60th birthday, no less—I ended up paying for the Risoletto myself. It doesn’t put me in a bind, but it’s still annoying.
Then don’t run promotions like that if they don’t actually work! The Coop Supercard isn’t perfect either—but at least these kinds of things work at the competition…
I’ll get over it, but I won’t fall for it again next time. Has anyone had a similar experience? I’m looking forward to hearing from you, and today I’ll enjoy my self-purchased Risoletto with my coffee.... :-)
