Ever since Migros had the brilliant idea to completely overhaul everything and even brought in the bigwigs from McKinsey (what could possibly go wrong?), promotions have been drastically scaled back. And this applies to all products, not just those Migros now labels as “low-price.”

On Migros Online, the Cumulus coupons have completely disappeared. Even better: the coupons that are still there are all store-only. That’s Migros Online giving its customers the middle finger. The Cumulus system, so to speak. Why is Migros doing this? On the one hand, Migros hasn’t got online delivery costs under control, and on the other, Migros probably makes a higher margin when people shop in-store rather than in the online shop.

So if anyone has seen the Migros culture—where Dutti’s spirit and the heart of the cooperative reside—please turn it in to customer service. Thank you very much.
