Dear Migros Team Is there a public REST API or an interface via which I can access my data as a Migros customer? Using the data for the recipe database, food tracker, private accounting, etc. would be ideal.

Hello Arya_Svitkona, thank you for your inquiry and your interest. We have discussed the issue with the specialist department and clarified the situation. We do not have a public API and at the moment we are refraining from releasing the Migros API. We regret that we are currently unable to offer you the desired analysis option. Have a nice day and best regards, Remo

It's a shame that Migros is lagging behind in terms of digitalization and is not making a forward-looking statement. If Migros is already collecting data from customers on a large scale and unfortunately distributing it very generously all over the world according to https://privacy.migros.ch/, it would be highly desirable to make it available to customers in a structured form. What is possible today is more than modest. It would be a great opportunity to show customers what data they store and in what form. What a pity.

Dear Remo Thank you for the clarifications. I am well aware that Migros primarily has a different mandate than developing an API for its customers. Nevertheless, I agree with my colleague in this thread. Back in 2016, I made the same request to one of your technology partners, who confirmed to me that there was an API, but that it could only be used internally at Migros. Is there no "developer access" after a special check? It would be very interesting (also for Migros) to find out what solutions customers are developing with their own Cumulus data. Would it perhaps be possible to initiate the topic internally? P.S. Customer confidence is further increased if customers receive a benefit from the Cumulus card (apart from the discounts) and can view and use the collected data. At least from my point of view.

You can view your data by sending a corresponding request to Migros.

Hello Arya_Svitkona, thank you very much for your reply. I was happy to clarify your question again. Unfortunately, there is no "developer access" at the moment. However, I have gladly placed your request with the specialist department. Kind regards, Remo

Hello Remo, as a Thermomix user, I need an interface between the Thermomix and the Migros app to transfer the ingredients for the selected recipes in the Thermomix app to my Migros shopping list. That would be a great integration use case that would save many Migros customers tedious transfer work and perhaps even bring new customers to Migros. Thank you for checking and, at best, planning on your development roadmap! Best regards, Daniel

It's a real shame that this doesn't exist. Especially as APIs for the app and website already exist, but it's not so practical for users to interact with them...

Github ;)
It's a shame that the Migros API is not intended for the public, in which case it's a shame that I no longer work in IT at the FMC, otherwise I could have initiated this internally.
I work a lot with Home Assistant and ESPHome and have a barcode scanner in the kitchen that scans the products for the next shopping list, compares them with Grocy and adds them to a to-do list in Home Assistant. It would be much more ingenious if the products were added directly to the shopping list in the app.
A Migros integration for Home Assistant would also be conceivable, but my Python skills are modest ;)
Dear Migros, come on...it's not difficult to provide an API these days :)
