Another question about the Cumulus multiple points discount coupon
Abermals eine Frage zum Vorteilscoupon Cumulus-Mehrfachpunkte
Dear Migros I recently received a 40-point advantage coupon for "All Altnatura pasta" at the checkout (the only exception according to the receipt on paper and on the online receipt: M-Budget items). I bought the following product: "Alnatura Fusilli No. 19" (https://www.migros.ch/en/product/mo/6522297; incidentally, like many other products, these are not listed on the Migros website; it would be nice if they could be listed...). The points voucher was not applied to the product I bought. Since when do "Alnatura Fusilli" not fall under "All Alnatura pasta"? What are these fusilli, according to Migros, if not pasta (I think it even says pasta made from durum wheat semolina on the packet)? Fruit, vegetables, drinks, meat, cheese, bread, fish, sporting goods, tools, garden accessories??? It was only when I bought "Alnatura spelt penne" (https://www.migros.ch/de/product/104165000000) that this 40x points voucher was applied. Nowhere on the voucher (neither online nor on paper) did it say that this voucher only applies to all Alnatura spelt products, it said "All Alnatura pasta". As a customer, how am I supposed to know that this receipt is not valid for normal Alnatura durum wheat semolina pasta, but only for Alnatura spelt pasta, if there is nothing on the receipt? Is this the first time that I have received such a receipt from Migros where it is anything but clear which products it applies to? In my opinion, many of these vouchers are against the law, they are unfair, misleading and deceive consumers (this 40-point voucher for all Alnatura pasta is one such voucher in my opinion). I am annoyed every time I see on my receipt after paying at the checkout that the voucher has not been accepted (and every time the cashier says they don't know why, I should call the Cumulus hotline; when I called about this voucher, they couldn't help me or didn't know). I have now come to the conclusion (I already had a suspicion) that this suspected customer deception/misleading by means of unclear vouchers is intentional on the part of Migros. It is not possible for me to receive so many "unclear" receipts and to be surprised every time after paying at the checkout or to be taken for a ride by Migros (excuse the choice of words). This is certainly no longer a coincidence (as many unclear receipts as I have received in the meantime are certainly no longer coincidences)...
As this is not the first time and I suspect that there is a system in place (at least it seems to be for me, I don't know if it's the same for other customers), I will be collecting these "unclear" vouchers and the corresponding purchase receipts from now on and then having them checked for legality... I have just seen that I have received a 20x Cumulus advantage voucher for "All vegetable bouillons". Again, the only exception is M-Budget products. Does this voucher really apply to all vegetable bouillons, i.e. Bon Chef, Knorr, aha!, Alnatura? Or is this just another one of those "rip-off" vouchers? I'm not going to call the Cumulus hotline now, because they probably don't know or will tell me some bullshit (à la "yes applies to all", I buy Alnatura, for example, and then I see on the receipt that it hasn't been used)... Best regards
