i bought an emmentaler surchoix in freibourg im breisgau in the migros; unfortunately no information whether it is made with raw milk or not!!! i usually only buy raw milk products...it would be nice if i knew whether it is made from raw milk like the heidi emmentaler and why there is no information on the packaging about it... jeanpierre.paul@nordnet.fr Thank you
Emmentaler AOC may only be produced with raw milk, water, table salt, rennet and selected bacterial cultures, without any additives, preservatives or GMOs (genetically modified organisms).

Thank you for your request. All Emmentaler, Appenzeller and Gruyère cheeses are made from raw milk. This is stated accordingly in the respective specifications of the variety organizations.
This means that Emmentaler Surchoix is also made from raw milk.
