Hello Rahel_L, it is very difficult to make a statement about the caffeine content of a cup of Delizio coffee, as various influencing factors play a role: the cup size, the type of coffee (Arabica/Robusta), possibly the degree of roast, the filling quantity of the capsule, etc. With Lungo Crema, however, you can expect around 65mg for a cup size of 110ml. Would it be possible to produce the plastic capsules in such a way that the film at the bottom can simply be removed after use? Then it would be possible to separate the coffee grounds from the capsule and plastic recycling (PP) would then be possible. I could then use the coffee grounds as fertilizer.

Lately I've been having problems with lungo crema capsules, with some capsules the machine barely has the power to run 🍵. It varies from 3-4 good to 1-2 bad. Do I take out the bad one and put in a new one again?

Dear Sir or Madam Last week, as usual, I bought the Lungo Crema capsules (48) from Delizio in Migros - our favorite coffee. After drinking the coffee I had a bad stomach burn. And it's not just me, my husband also struggles with the worst kind of stomach burning. We tested it for 2 days. Have you changed the coffee composition for this variety? We didn't have any problems before and we don't have any problems with any other coffee either. Pack data: 31.07.2022, 00:20, L0000000933, 023, 1071.821 Thank you for the clarification.

Why are the Delizio capsules in organic quality only available in small packs? I would like to buy a large pack. Thank you for your answer and I hope to receive a supplement.

I've been an enthusiastic Delizio drinker for over 3 years! But now I've got a pack that I'm not at all enthusiastic about. The coffee tastes bitter/sour. Other varieties that I've made with the same machine taste normal - so I think it's probably the capsules. What a shame - would I hate to throw away a whole 48-capsule pack? Could it be that it only affects individual capsules? The expiration date is given as 31.3.2015, the number L0000000241 080 1071.821. Thank you for your efforts!!!

Many thanks for your post. We are sorry that the coffee did not taste good.
Our supplier has tasted the corresponding retained sample. Slight differences in taste could be detected in individual capsules, but these are within the natural range.
As coffee is a natural product and not every coffee bean always develops in exactly the same way, slight variations can unfortunately never be completely ruled out. Our supplier tries to keep these as low as possible through the coffee blends, roasting processes and strict incoming inspections.

My wife and I like to drink Delizio coffee. On the one hand, taste plays an important role, of course. But sometimes it is also important for us to know how much caffeine a variety has so that we can choose a weaker or stronger one. It is not clear from the variety names (legero, lungo...) or flavors which coffee contains more or less caffeine per portion. For example, does a cream have more than a lungo? Is there a "caffeine ranking list"?

Keep your eyes open when buying coffee! Take a close look at the picture above, you will find the information you are looking for. A little hint: Strength level...

is just not true. The strength level shows the strength of the taste. An espresso, for example, has a much stronger taste but contains less caffeine than a lungo.

We have been drinking Delizio coffee for years, especially the Crema, and have always been delighted with it. But it seems that not only the packaging has changed, but also the quality. The 48 pack of Crema we bought recently tastes horrible! As if it had been run through a paper filter twice. We hope that at least the espresso has retained its quality. We can no longer drink the Crema and will probably have to throw the remaining capsules in the bin. Too bad, too bad.

Thank you for your interest.
The caffeine content varies from blend to blend. It is also very variable within a green coffee provenance, as coffee is a natural product. Furthermore, the caffeine content strongly depends on the respective extraction method.
For this reason, we are unfortunately unable to provide you with precise information about the caffeine content. Non-decaffeinated roasted coffee beans contain around 1.3 - 2.0% caffeine.
