We assure you that we review such a decision carefully before implementing it. One of Migros' tasks is to monitor market developments and identify new trends. Since week 29.2020, we have been offering certain Ovomaltine products in our range that we can offer you as an alternative: Ovomaltine Crunchy, https://produkte.migros.ch/ovomaltine-crunchy (new for Eimalzin milk chocolate) and Ovomaltine Choc ovo, https://produkte.migros.ch/choc-ovo (new for Eimalzin malt cubes). We have only replaced certain Eimalzine products and have not completely discontinued these products. We continue to stock the following items in the Eimalzin range: Branches Eimalzin as well as Branches Eimalzin 50s and Branches Eimalzin 30s in promotional format. Generally speaking, (third-party) brands are more expensive than own brands. Unfortunately, we have to inform you that we no longer have our Eimalzin milk chocolate and malt cubes in our range. Sometimes discontinuation is unavoidable. However, we assure you that we will carefully review such a decision. The Eimalzin Branches will remain in the range. Unfortunately, brands are generally a little more expensive than private labels. Dear M-Infoline, thank you for your reply. I don't really understand why the private labels have to disappear. They have made Migros what it is today and still characterize Migros at the moment. I strongly suspect that the decision is based on economic interests. Eimalzin was cult!

However, the more than 250 own brands still form the heart of the range. The addition of branded products to the Migros range remains an exception and our strong own brands continue to make up the majority of the range.
