Hi Dolli_Bra. Yes, the toothpaste contains titanium dioxide. However, there are also some Candida toothpastes that are free of CI 77891. The following Candida toothpastes do not contain titanium dioxide: Candida Peppermint, Candida Fresh Gel, Candida Halitosis Gel, Candida Cool Herbs Gel, Candida Parodin, Candida White Optic. Our own industry, Mibelle AG, replaced microplastics (plastic peeling particles) in all cosmetics and toothpastes with alternative particles of natural origin several years ago. In an experiment, the abrasion of a toothpaste is compared with that of a standard toothpaste under clearly defined conditions. The standard toothpaste has a RDA = 100. But the RDA of a toothpaste is not the only quality criterion. The ideal toothpaste combines high cleaning potential (Re), low abrasion (RDA) and low tooth surface roughness (Ra). In the K-Tip of January 14 1998, the 12 leading toothpastes on the Swiss market were analyzed by the University of Zurich, with our three pastes Candida Sensitive, Fresh Gel and Peppermint taking part. Candida Sensitive was the clear winner of the test, as it best met the above-mentioned criteria. Your comment about the spelling mistake has been passed on to the relevant department. The prices, or rather the size, of this product were adjusted in 2010 and have not been changed since.
We published a statement about this adjustment in Migros Magazine No. 9 of March 1, 2010:
We research, develop and test every single product, just like the big brand companies; however, unlike these international ventures, our sales market only covers Switzerland.

The current situation no longer allowed us to fully absorb the price increases and we were therefore forced to adjust our prices. We combined this with a revision of the Candida line, in which we switched to a standardized and marketable tube size of 75 ml for the problem-solving toothpastes. Nevertheless, the entire toothpaste range was not increased. For example, the four Lilibiggs children's toothpastes became cheaper. In addition to our commitment to prevention, we would like to make a contribution to healthy children's teeth.
