I have been struggling for some time to get the can of this broth open. In contrast to competitor products (from Germany), the material used for the edge of the plastic lid has obviously been skimped on. I keep slipping off the narrow rim and can't get a good grip on it. Sometimes I have to open it with a damp tea towel to be able to use the jar at all. 2-3 mm more rim width would do wonders here - because I have a direct comparison with tins from other manufacturers - which can be opened immediately and without additional aids.

Hello stefannoack Sorry that you had to wait so long for our response. We have clarified this with our manufacturer. The lids for these cans have been in use for several years. The lid is a standard product that is used for many products (bouillons, gravies, stocks). We have not yet received any other complaints about this lid. As we do not have a sample, we cannot assess whether your product may have a manufacturing defect. It is possible that the rim is not shaped correctly, but we have not found any deviations from the quality standard in our return samples. Furthermore, we naturally try to use as little packaging material as possible. We are sorry that you are not satisfied with this. Kind regards from the M-Infoline team

Good evening, unfortunately the bouillon no longer tastes good to me and my son either since you have been using a new recipe. Kind regards

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We are sorry that our Bon Chef Bouillon Vegetable fat-free is the reason for a complaint. We have changed the recipe for this product. The vegetable content has been increased from 0.5 percent to 2.2 percent, which changes the color and taste of the bouillon. We are also now using soy sauce for the bouillon. We are sorry that you no longer like the bouillon with the new recipe. We have already received some feedback from other customers, so we have decided to switch back to the original recipe. The bouillon with the old recipe will be available again in our stores at the end of 2015 / beginning of 2016. A sticker will be affixed to the packaging so that you can recognise the item. We hope you find another bouillon in our wide range that tastes better and wish you an enjoyable weekend. Best wishes from the M-Infoline team

Who tried the "new" bouillon and thought it was good? Probably not the consumers. Why don't you make a small free sample beforehand and let customers rate it before you launch something so horrible on the market? The bouillon was excellent before, why do you have to change it and make it worse? I don't understand. Of course tastes are different, but I only read negative things about the new recipe. So much negative feedback and yet it is ignored?

I recently saw that this bouillon is also available in a gluten-free version. However, I always thought that this one, the "normal" one, was gluten-free and always cooked with it because it didn't say that it contained gluten. Does the "normal" bouillon contain gluten or not?

Hello SaraLara The Migros bouillons under the Bon Chef and M-Budget labels do not contain any ingredients containing gluten. However, dried/grained bouillon may contain traces of gluten due to the manufacturing process, which is indicated on the packaging. In the case of bouillons in paste form, on the other hand, contamination with gluten can be practically ruled out. However, the products are not systematically tested for traces of gluten and are therefore not labeled as "gluten-free". This is only the case with the special aha! bouillon; here you have the greatest possible certainty. Best wishes from your M-Infoline team

Dear Sir or Madam I recently bought two cans of this bouillon. It has been my favorite bouillon for years. Now it says New Quality on the tin. Unfortunately, I have to tell you that the product does not have a new quality, but a completely new taste. Everything flavored with this bouillon now tastes like tomato soup. This is not an option for me, as I have used the bouillon very widely in my kitchen. What a shame! I think something has gone wrong with the new development. I will now be forced to look for a new bouillon from the competition. Best regards, Rahel Steinmann

Dear Rahel, thank you very much for your feedback. It's a shame that the new Bon Chef bouillon doesn't taste as good as before. We take your feedback seriously and will pass it on to our specialist department. Basically, we can say that it's impossible to develop a product that tastes good to all customers. Tastes are very diverse. For this reason, we offer several versions and flavours of many products. We hope that you will also like another bouillon from our range. See you soon and best regards from the M-Infoline team
