Hello Kami-Kaze, thank you for your inquiry about Blévitas sesame seeds. In September 2020, when the suspicion of ethylene oxide in sesame seeds arose, our manufacturer reacted immediately. They obtained certificates of analysis from the sesame supplier and later also analyzed all products already produced with Indian sesame. Furthermore, the manufacturer decided in September 2020 to only use sesame from South Africa for Blévitas in future. This means that the sesame seeds used no longer come from India. Unfortunately, this is the case with almost every product. Migros repackages everything and changes the recipe or the manufacturer at the same time. The result is horrible. All the products get worse. And the worst thing is that Migros talks its way out of it, refuses to accept it and keeps on doing it. In my opinion, it could also be a tactic that people then stop buying the product, Migros throws it out and puts new, worse products back on the shelves.

This percentage therefore varies accordingly. Demand for organic flours in particular cannot be met by Swiss production. Other regions of origin are Europe and North America.
