Is the product vegan?

Hello cramcram, Blévita Rice Crackers Coconut do not contain any ingredients or additives of animal origin and can therefore be described as vegan. If they are exposed to higher temperatures, this affects the quality of the fat. A circumstance that is transferred to the cookies. This results in the discrepancies you described. Such products do not meet our criteria. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. As the product category (rice-based Blévita) is a relatively recent addition to our range, we appreciate your report. Good morning LarsR If a product contains gluten-containing ingredients, this must be openly declared, stating the gluten-containing cereals (wheat, spelt, rye, barley, etc.). Accordingly: Observe the list of ingredients! Traces due to possible carry-over in the manufacturing process must be indicated at the end of the list of ingredients with a "may contain gluten" or "may contain traces of gluten". Spices are gluten-free by definition. Seasoning mixes may contain gluten, but this would then have to be declared (e.g. seasoning mix [with wheat starch]). In these blévitas, only soya is printed in bold, i.e. it is an allergen. Best regardsFrederica

Hello LarsR, the Blévita Rice Crackers do not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, but gluten-containing Blévitas are also produced on the same production line. Despite extensive cleaning between productions, contamination can unfortunately not be ruled out, which is why a trace label is also attached to these rice crackers. In order for a product to be labeled "gluten-free", the gluten content must be below 20mg/kg. This means that, in addition to a gluten-free recipe, special requirements must be met in production (i.e. cleaning of the production facilities and the entire flow of goods and the environment). As the manufacturer of Blévitas does not have gluten-free lines and rooms in its bakery production, it is unfortunately not possible to guarantee these low limits. Are the Rice Cocos Blevita no longer being produced? Unfortunately, they are sold out in almost all stores... And I would love it if 'Salt & Vinegar' was fully included in the range 😀 Lg

(May contain: gluten, milk and sesame). The nutritional values per 100 g are as follows: Energy: 1889 kJ, 448 kcal, Fat: 12 g, of which saturated fatty acids 4.1 g, Carbohydrates: 80 g, of which sugar 9.8 g, Dietary fiber: 3.4 g, Protein: 3.4 g and Salt: 1.3 g.
