This is now my second steam iron from Mio Star. I'm basically happy with it. With the first one, I somehow managed to overuse the rotating plate so that it fell out and I couldn't possibly mend it.

Please note in the description on the website that silk (generally medium iron temperature) cannot be steam ironed!!!! I made an extra melectronics video chat before buying and asked about this and was told incorrectly that this was possible without any problems. Now I just had to return my iron after the first use, which is not exactly environmentally friendly. Bad information :-(
Unfortunately, it wasn't until I got home that I saw in the operating instructions that the iron can only be used with steam at the three-point heat setting. I therefore returned it immediately. It was taken back without any problems.
As described and easy to use! Good value for money.
It works well and isn't expensive, so what more can I say?
Actually a great item, looks good, sits well in the hand, great price...but unfortunately the gliding properties leave a lot to be desired...I can't iron linen/polyester kitchen towels, the iron doesn't glide on the fabric, it's no better at a low temperature. My old Bosch iron did the job though...what a shame....
Would have paid twice as much for this great iron. I am thrilled.
