Price performance is right
I, too, am disappointed by the decline in quality. They’ve probably saved a few cents at the expense of quality again. The fastening wires have also been shortened from 12 cm to 7 cm. Now it’s almost impossible to attach them. It’s interesting that the packaging still shows the old ones with the large label area.
Poor quality, tears very easily, now you have to use two to be safe, which is terribly bad for the environment. Change is good, but generally we try to change for the better, not for the worse!
I really miss the old ones. I hope the decision-makers are smart enough to reconsider and bring back the old bags. Otherwise, it's simple: we'll go to Aldi or Lidl to see if there's anything better, or we'll shop online!
A word to the wise.
Frozen food bags, but unfortunately not the old ones. Opinions will be divided on this, because these are not as good as the old ones. Bring them back. I would give the old ones five stars because these tear too easily and are too small.
New in the box packaging... Some of it has freezer burn!?
Another high-quality product ruined. Wow, the new McK Migros really knows how to do it. People buy these bags because they are thicker and easy to label. But some consultant must have said that customers don't want that and are embarrassed by it. The new bags are too thin and simply a massive deterioration in quality.
I do NOT like the quality!
The plastic is much thinner than the classic ones that were previously available (unfortunately, I can't find those anymore).
The label field is also only half the size. What a shame...
I used to be able to use the bags many times, but now they break after the first use. I won't be buying them anymore! They're not what I'm looking for. The other frozen food bags from Migros aren't any better either.
No comparison to the old bags—poor quality, much too thin, unusable. Please bring back the old high-quality freezer bags!
As a Migros kid, I really appreciated the old freezer bags for years and used them to sort and store not only food, but all kinds of things from around the house and everyday life, because the thickness of the plastic was just perfect and you could feel the quality just by touching them. The new bags, on the other hand, are much too thin and often tear when you cut them off the roll or even when you put a slightly sharp-edged object in them. Optimizing for sustainability is all well and good, but please not at the expense of quality! Even today, I am incredibly annoyed that I didn't buy 50 rolls of the old bags before switching to the new ones. I was equally annoyed when I realized that Coop switched to the new bags at practically the same time as Migros. Grrrrr... I can live with the shorter closure sticks and the changed labeling field, but please, please, please bring back the old high-quality freezer bags. I would even pay a fair surcharge compared to the new thin bags for the extra amount of plastic!
