«The lamp provides excellent brightness, but many users report issues like flickering and premature failure after a short time. Despite energy savings, frequent replacements seem to outweigh costs, leading to dissatisfaction. Overall, product quality is mixed, with recurring defects.»

Burns excellently
I had the same experience as Mr. Güttinger. I bought the 12W=100W Osram R7s LED with the product number 7613434064819 a year ago. Now it is starting to flicker and no longer shines as brightly. So it doesn't seem to be an outlier.
The next higher model, also for the R7s base, but with more power (150W), cannot be found here in the online range, and with good reason, because it is a Monday model: the first lamp lasted about a year, then started to flicker and gave up the ghost. It got so hot that I was surprised it didn't cause a fire... A week ago I bought the same model, luminosity equivalent to 150W, base R7s, and now it starts to flicker just a few days after being inserted. If the lamp that is supposed to replace a conventional 150W one, which I doubt because it kept losing luminosity, then it must last for years. My CHF 30.95 lamp lasted just under a year. The second one for CHF 30.95 flickers after just a few days. I save a lot of electricity with the LED lamp from Migros. But the cost of replacing the lamps after such a short time far exceeds these savings.... What's more, I use significantly more resources with the Migros LED lamps than with the classic halogen R7s lamp. This is clear evidence that Migros and every other retailer is exploiting the gullibility of consumers: These believe that if they pay many times the necessary price, they can save the environment and their wallets. In the end, they pay more and the environment is even more polluted.....
