Too small, strange shape (unpleasant or at least unfamiliar), neither taste nor effect convince me
It reduces throat pain but the taste and smell are not very pleasant.
Our mother recommended ribwort plantain when she discovered it in the meadows and showed it to us children. Also for "biting" mosquito bites. Ribwort plantain leaf rubbed between the fingers and applied. Soothes. 1960 apparently still applies today from the mosquito bite to the throat.
