Excellent when ripe, fruit of the Solo variety, endemic to Brazil, excellent for combating gastric problems, regulates digestion.

Probably the best papaya I have ever tasted outside of the growing regions (or not from the tropical house in Wolhusen where I once worked). Perfectly ripe, sweet, not a hint of the sharp bitterness that you often find in small papayas.
I really liked it, it reminded me of my childhood.
