It is highly doubtful whether bottom trawl nets are sustainable (bycatch, damage to reefs and corals)! I've given up on it; buying fish is increasingly becoming a matter of conscience.
Bake with a drizzle of lemon and cover with a sauce (white wine, mustard and light cream) 5 minutes before removing from oven.

For consumption until 11.10.25. Opened it on 11.10.25. Smell unacceptable. Had to dispose of it. Too bad it didn't last until the expiration date.
As always, the plaice delivers on its promise: delicate flesh and thin slices just the way we like them.
