The product was one of my absolute favorites. Unfortunately, it has been changed recently: It is now cut much thinner, less dried, less salty and the typical smoky taste has almost completely disappeared.
Instead of tasting like a country smoked ham, it tastes more like a mild cured ham. What a shame - I hope the original recipe comes back!
