A horror, oddly cut meat, hard as concrete, we couldn't eat it, it all went in the garbage can. It's not the first time I've found Migros meat inedible. But it will be the last. If you want to catch up with Lidl (excellent Swiss meat), you have to change supplier and go back to a real cooperative serving customers.
Vacations, Thursday and today was weather for game😉 As Migros kids, we bought venison schnitzel at 3M Oberland... All the side dishes are prepared - all that's missing is our venison schnitzel. 2-3 minutes on each side in the pan and onto the plate - that was the plan! We were surprised that the meat was processed against the fibers - well they should know what they are doing... On the plate and covered with sauce came the first challenge - extremely tough and an absurd taste of old buck was the result ..., disappointed there was a second round, unfortunately with the same result, we have now decided to throw away the entire 500gr and let us taste a "hunter's pitch". Conclusion: We won't be buying any more game at Migro - our advice is to treat yourselves to good meat from the butcher 😉
Unfortunately, 2 out of 3 schnitzels were streaked with fat.
Rotten on best-before date
well, not the finest
Good quality, but not as tender as venison schnitzel
Good quality, the game season can come
I have had very different experiences. Some were very tender and tasty. Then the next time I reached into the counter, I unfortunately got an incredibly tough and dry schnitzel.
not necessarily our taste. looks very good.a little tough.
Good quality, very tender
