The meat was quite tough
Lack of flavor and the consistency is very firm and rubbery
Extremely tough, shrinks to a fraction when fried, tastes of nothing and - unfortunately only seen too late - comes from Brazil. Absolutely not recommended
Chönt cheaper them
Very good value and very practical.
No! Even in a double pack and at a special price, this chicken cutlet remains a huge disappointment! It also requires thorough research to find out the country of origin (spoiler: not Switzerland). The meat - no matter how short/long/spicy you fry it or cook it gently - always remains rubbery, dry and not at all convincing in terms of taste. After defrosting, an unnaturally high amount of water suddenly appears - not a good sign of quality. It was our first and last double pack.
Please take this product out of the range this has nothing to do with quality worst poulet I have ever eaten. does not deserve a star
Disappointed is putting it mildly, this is not even 2nd choice and deserves 0 (zero) stars. Chicken meat like this is probably otherwise pureed and made into nuggets. I bought it some time ago in a promotion of 2x 500 grams and stored it in the freezer as stock. Visually it is cut quite differently, from huge chunks to crumbs, everything is there, so the question arises as to how everything should be cooked at the same time. During the searing process, you can see how the raw meat has been pumped up with liquid, as it shrinks a lot during the searing process. To eat: rubbery, hard, not edible for me. Food waste or not, the second 500 gram pack is thrown away immediately.
Tough as an old chicken in soup
I bought this meat on sale and would never do so again. The packaging is ok, although it feels like only half of the meat remains after defrosting, a lot of water comes off after defrosting. When cooking, it only loses another huge amount of water, so much so that only about half of the original weight remains after cooking (I don't think that's quite normal). In addition, no matter how I prepare the meat - creamed, marinated, with vegetables, seared or slow-cooked, the meat always remains very hard, fibrous, rubbery, simply not good to eat and there is no question of enjoying it. At first I thought that I had made a mistake when cooking, but unfortunately I was also very disappointed with the quality of this meat the next time I tried it.... In addition, I would feel sick every time after trying this meat (whether this is just a head thing because the meat is so bad is possible)... I still have 2 packs of the stuff in the freezer and no plan what I'm going to do with it.... Too bad...
