Tastes like tinned peas and has less flavor overall than a basmati rice pack from Uncle Ben. Even with flavoring and other spices, it doesn't taste any better

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste. It was easy to season (salt and herbs as required) and pimp with additional vegetables (I used frozen peas) and some feta topping. It made a healthy, quick meal.
