Intense hazelnut taste and reduced sugar content compared with standard Nocciolata. This paste also contains a lot of skimmed-milk powder*, although this is not explicitly stated on the ingredients list. Fortunately, skimmed milk powder takes the place of sugar in this kind of product (if you're looking to balance the fat percentage). And all the salt in skimmed milk is also a perfect flavor enhancer.
In the end, the slightly sandy texture remains the only weak point. A good spread should be as smooth and melting as chocolate, in my opinion.
*Given the amount of sugar (42g) indicated in the nutritional info (despite sugar being second in the ingredients, so no more than 30g), there should be at least 20g of skimmed milk powder (lactose!) 🤔. So, more than double the amount of most spreads, Nutella type.
(The version I bought didn't contain agave fiber).
