As with juniper, the same applies to elderberry: no frills, no additives. In the Middle Ages, latticework was a staple food and a remedy.

Very good elderberry flavor, but much too viscous
My kids and I loved this jam. After my grandma died, it was a worthy successor to her homemade jam! But now it has disappeared from the shelf, can that be? - A regrettable mistake!
An important spread for me, tastes like it used to. It's a shame that the Wacholder Latwerge is no longer available, it was just as important to me.
