I need it for baking. In case anyone doesn't know (like me) – when an English recipe calls for "evaporated milk," this is what it means – unsweetened condensed milk! (Why it's called "evaporated"... I have no idea.)
Perfect for so many recipes and good in coffee as well.
Ideal for making karak (similar to chai tea latte)
To build up a small reserve, I can consume the pure contents of the can to satisfy my hunger. However, most of the time, I dilute the product with two volumes of water equivalent to that in the can, to obtain milk. There is a sweetened version in tins, but this format is not optimal for me. In this case, I prefer the tube format.
