I have been buying Migros Fastnachtschüechli for decades. They WERE the best. Yesterday, I happily bought some and... I'm very disappointed. They no longer have the light and airy consistency they used to have. They are chewy and stick to your teeth. They taste oily and the powdered sugar sticks to the cookies. Has something been changed in the recipe? Has potato starch always been used? Has the amount been increased? Maybe this was just a bad batch?
I tried the ones from Coop and they tasted better: fresher, crispier, lighter, and the powdered sugar didn't stick to them.
I'll try the Migros ones again.
