I know torta di pane from my grandmother. Many of the ones sold in stores are okay, but unfortunately this one from Migros is not. It's very stringy, has no candied fruit in it, just dry orange peel pieces, pine nuts only on top, and too strong a cinnamon flavor—unfortunately a flop. The competition is much better (Manor, Coop)—but best of all at the bakery (Marnin Locarno, etc.).
