You can also cut the bread into cubes, fry briefly in butter in a pan and season with herb salt to make delicious croutons for the salad.

The Migros dark organic toast is okay - even better toasted than untoasted. Unfortunately, there is almost only wholemeal toast in the organic range in Switzerland. I would like to see a variant made from light wheat. The taste is okay, but there are definitely better toasts on the market.
