When will low-fat grated cheese finally be available in Switzerland?

Wann gibt es in der CH endlich Low-Fat-Reibekäse?

Hello Everything is now available, it even already exists, the low-fat cheese....but why isn't there a low-fat grated cheese? If you eat a little calorie-consciously and look into it on social media, you can find thousands of recipes with low-fat grated cheese. Unfortunately, I always have to drive across the border to get it.... Dear Migros, DO SOMETHING - you won't regret it.... Kind regards, Yannick

Then take the Leger Tilsiter and grate it.

Hello Blatti88, thank you for your inquiry. I have asked the relevant specialist department about this. Unfortunately, the demand for this type of grated cheese is currently still too low for us to include it in our range. However, we have taken your request on board for future product range considerations. Perhaps you would like to process this cheese into grated cheese yourself: https://www.migros.ch/en/product/210697524000?context=instore? Best regards, Sina

The demand is not low, so definitely not. Many people simply continue to buy them in Germany... there is a large selection there and everyone will probably find one they like.

I find that unnecessary

buy low fat cheese and grate it yourself.... 😅😅

In this situation I would recommend Appenzeller Rässkäse 1/4 fat, labeled in German and very tasty :-)

And where can you buy it? Never seen it in my region. Thank you.

Unfortunately, we only have Leger Tilsiter in Wil. Unfortunately, Wil has taken out the Oh! mountain cheese. There used to be really good ones and some more low-fat cheeses/soft cheeses...

So at my Kaufland (the only one that offers this) the product is no longer available...so the product is not so popular

This cannot be related to demand...the demand is very high. Just take a look at the many calorie-conscious recipes from DE: All with low fat cheese. Low-fat cheese is not only found in Germany. I have also found the product in France, England, Italy, Austria, the USA etc. - but in CH there is none. In the supermarket where I usually go, there are even 3 different grated low-fat cheeses. The main thing is that the shelves are getting fuller and fuller with vegan substitute products and 700 different types of milk, but a grated low-fat cheese is not on sale. I simply cannot imagine for the life of me that the demand for whole low-fat cheese (as a piece) should be greater than for grated cheese.
