I am Peeling Beauty Pads

I am Peeling Beauty Pads

Dear Migros team I have been looking for the I am Peeling Beauty Pads (barcode: 7 630028 611518) in "my" Migros for some time, unfortunately without success. Now I wanted to look online, but the pads are nowhere to be found online - as if they had disappeared from the face of the earth. I now fear that they have been taken out of the range again (as they were a few years ago). Do you have any further information on this? Have the pads been permanently removed from the range? Will there be a replacement product (dry-based pads that can be moistened) or successor product in the future? If Migros has indeed removed the pads from its range, I (and I'm sure many others) find this a great shame and disappointing. It is a great product and has been part of my facial care routine for years. I would be delighted if you could answer my questions. Best regards Kachinga

If you live near the German border, Balea (I think) also sells cotton pads with an integrated peeling in the DM. They are bigger than the normal pads and practical for on the go.

Practical for on the go? Hm, I've never felt the need to exfoliate on the go😀. And I do it with a cloth when I'm traveling. It works wonderfully and produces less waste.

That answer wasn't meant for you either, was it? Well! Imagine there are people who want to exfoliate on vacation, for example, but don't want to take a whole tube with them.

Keep cool, right😉. You don't have to react so unfriendly right away.

@Yoliboli: You probably didn't mean it that way or didn't think about it, but your comment "have never had a need to exfoliate while traveling" was rather offensive, as if those who have are strange people in your eyes. By "on the road", however, you probably meant when traveling, which can also be a long train journey. Skin with large pores and eczema gets dirty more quickly and feels impure ;) Just think about how it could be meant instead of throwing something out there and then wondering if someone feels offended. Thank you and good luck!

My post was anything but offensive. Really now. You really can't post anything anymore without someone feeling attacked, hurt or something else. And I don't think it's necessary to interpret things in this way.

Hello anidjo, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we are not planning to reintroduce the I am Peeling Pads. We had to remove them from our range at the time due to low demand. As an alternative, we have the following own-brand peelings on offer: I am Sugar Peeling Hemp Seed Powder: https://www.migros.ch/de/product/513366900000 I am Sugar Peeling with Coconut Shell: https://www.migros.ch/de/product/513366800000 Zoé Expert Facial Peeling: https://www.migros.ch/de/product/513386800000 Best regards, Alex

This actually seems to have been a unique product (dry-based pads that can be moistened), as I had never heard of it, I duck-ducked it 😀 It doesn't exist, only moist in cans and very expensive and the joke about the Migros pads seemed to be dry/self-moistening. Hopefully Migros at least patented it back then!!! This really seems to me to be an optimal solution to the problems described by Veepee. But I would also try something like this. It could be offered in one of the countless Migros pharmacies if the desired price cannot be achieved on the market 😉 I heard about it for the first time today - although the product has apparently not been available for three years - something like this that is not available anywhere should have been advertised. Migros should really think about a relaunch, that would be a real unique selling point!

Hello curley, thank you very much for your detailed letter. How nice that you can see something positive in the uniqueness of the product! Unfortunately, not all our customers saw it that way, which led us to give up :-(. As you know, there are currently no plans to reintroduce it. Nevertheless, I have taken the opportunity to put your suggestions to the relevant department. Perhaps the department heads will try again in due course? After all, new input is always good! I hope my efforts are in your interest. Best regards, Tabea
