Assortment online vs store
Sortiment Online vs Laden

I am generally aware that the range online tends to be smaller than in stores. The clear exception is alcohol (but I don't want to talk about that here). However, I recently noticed that, for example, the Durex brand (as the No. 1 in Switzerland for its area) is only available online, but its direct competitor is available in stores and online. How can this be? FYI: Coop has both products online and in-store... I find that strange... Does anyone or Migros have an explanation for this?

Hello product range admirers, Migros Online is responsible for its own product range and has the option of offering more products than are available in the stores. Due to the regional nature of many products, these are often not available in the online store. I hope this clarifies your question. Best regards, Sina
Hello assortment admirers Migros Online works autonomously and has its own assortment policy. Please contact us directly: Migros Online - How can we help you?Best regardsFrederica

@M-Infoline: Thanks for the quick info. Where can I ask if I have specific questions about the range in the store (for a particular brand)? Best regards

Specifically, I have a question about the Durex brand in the stores. As far as I know, it is the No. 1 brand worldwide and also in Switzerland, and I wonder why this brand is not included in the range (like Coca-Cola, Nivea etc.). So unfortunately you have to make the extra "detour" to a Coop store.

Hello range admirer, thank you for clarifying your request. At the time, we deliberately opted for Ceylor because it is a Swiss brand. An expansion to include Durex products is not planned due to the numerous positive feedbacks we have received so far about the Ceylor line and also for reasons of space, as we have a wide range with the additional products from Cosano. I hope this information helps you. Best regards, Tabea

Thank you for the detailed explanation. One comment regarding the "Swiss brand": Maybe this was once produced in Switzerland, but according to the packaging, everything from A-Z is produced in Japan... is unfortunately once again a deceptive packaging regarding "Swiss brand", as many other brands do... I find such claims very misleading with regard to Swissness.
