Pans

Pfannen

Migros has a wide range of pans and cookware in general.
As I need to replace some of my pans, I am looking for a pan that can also be used for flambéing.
can also be used for flambéing.
Which items from the wide range of Migros cookware are suitable for flambéing?
Unfortunately, there is no indication of this anywhere!
Couldn't such a note be placed on the packaging or label?
I think many amateur cooks would welcome such information.

Hi Imperator,

Thank you for your contribution.

We have just asked our pan fairy which item she can recommend to you.

Generally an uncoated stainless steel pan. I also use one of these for flambéing.

Hello Imperator

Our specialist actually recommends an uncoated pan, as HirschiS also uses, for example the GASTRO frying pan with article number 7033.062. Thank you for pointing out this information on the packaging, we will check this and, if possible, incorporate it into the next changeover.

Kind regards

M Infoline, thanks for the clarification and the answer.
@HirschiS
thanks for the tip.

I love my cast iron pan (bought after the GreenPan debacle), which unfortunately I couldn't buy in Migros.

I have always used titanium frying pans up to now and am very satisfied with them, but now that I want to buy another one, this one came to me.

What experience have you had with it, is it possible to fry meat at a high temperature? Thanks for your help

When buying pans, many dishwashers make sure that their cookware can be cleaned in the dishwasher. There is usually a note on the packaging: a pictogram of a dishwasher, or it says "dishwasher-safe" or "dishwasher-safe". All the same - you would think.

Off to the dishwasher - or not? http://www.srf.ch/sendungen/kassensturz-espresso/achtung-spuelmaschinengeeignet-ist-nicht-spuelmaschinenfest-2
