Customer density: online query option

Kundendichte: Online Abfragemöglichkeit

I would like to know at what times (weekday, time blocks) fewer customers shop. If there is a regularity, it would be great to be able to query the customer density online (per store), similar to the SBB timetable (low - medium - high) for 7:30-9:30, 9:30-11:30, 11:30-12:30, 12:30-15, 15-17, 17-19. The personal experience values are no longer correct, home office has led to changes. p.s. Many thanks to all Migros employees for their great commitment!

As far as the query of cell phone data (collection of people) is concerned, even at the FOPH only one person has access to it. Otherwise, I would say that depending on what the Federal Council announces at the press conferences, there could be a big rush in the hours afterwards. There are probably no real patterns, it depends more on the news of the day. I would go early in the morning in the hope that the shelves are still full. Do others think the same?

Theoretically, this could be determined based on arrivals and departures (e.g. using a light barrier or pragmatically based on the number of checkouts) and put online in real time. However, the current crisis would be long over by the time such a solution was implemented. Furthermore, the question of cost and benefit should not be completely neglected.
