Hello Michi2000, thank you for your inquiry. You are correct in your assumption. The recipe for the "Grande Caffè" line has been adjusted. For example, the sugar content of the cappuccino has been reduced. We have also stopped using carageenan and use 100% Arabica coffee from Guatemala. The new composition has resulted in a price increase. At the same time, we decided to reduce the quantity by 20 ml and - in response to a major customer request - to fit a plastic lid. Dear M-Infoline team, thank you very much for your prompt reply! I'm a little surprised by this, as I've been drinking the espresso version for the last few years ;-) I have tried your 2 variants - M-Budget & Zero - and unfortunately they have nothing to do with an espresso for my taste - hence the poor ratings. I will probably make my own espresso at home again in future... MFG!

There was a Grande Caffè Espresso, which we no longer carry in our range due to low demand. As the new M-Budget Espresso uses different coffee beans than the previous Grande Caffè Espresso (new: Max Havelaar Fair Trade beans), the taste profile is different. Best regards, your M-Infoline team
