I have been using the digital receipt or self-checkout for several years now. In the first few years there was maybe 1 check per year; in the last 2 years you could expect at least 2 checks. That's OK if the wholesaler works according to the motto "Trust is good, control is better". My spot checks have all been OK so far (OK, once I would have paid too much). Last year I didn't scan two items because I simply overlooked them in the large shopping basket (trolley). Well, that's what they all say, of course. But in dubio pro reo... Since this check, I've been increasingly "sting checked". OK, I had already figured that the probability would increase after the one slip-up, but now I'm checked almost every second (!) purchase. Dear MIGROS, I'm a co-partner. And yes, I did make a mistake once.
