I used to buy the Butterweggen in Migros for 3.90, but I was in another branch in Zurich Wiedikon and it said 4.50 with the note "low price"!!!????
Hello, are you kidding us? The app also says 3.90.- and the price certainly doesn't justify it just because it's baked there in the store! And above all, there's a sign with a low price on it! That's really cheeky!!!
From the look of your photo, you are comparing two different products. The product on the shelf appears to be an item from "From the region. For the region." (different design of the bag), while the Butterweggen on the cell phone is a standard Migros product for the whole of Switzerland. However, the low price frame actually seems out of place in this case.

Well, I'm from the Zurich region and in the other stores the Butterweggen always costs 3.90, just like in the app, I've never seen one for 4.50. Both are Butterweggen IP Suisse, so they are not different products, just because the eggs come from a Zurich chicken and because of the packaging -.60 more expensive is not proportionate. I think it has more to do with the fact that the more expensive Butterweggen was sold in a newly opened branch. And "low price" is a lie!

The higher price is due to the fact that it is a different producer who charges different prices than the Migros industry.
And Migros Wiediker Markt is not a new store, but a reopening after renovation.

In my opinion, it is time to seriously question the label "From the region, for the region". It is nothing more than a marketing ploy to take money out of consumers' pockets without them being able to see any real added value. Personally, I have always consciously avoided these products. Not to say that I'm seeing red after the loudspeaker commercials have recently started thanking people "for their support" in a whiny tone of voice that triggers me per se.
