I can understand that you review the product range from time to time and remove weak products from the range due to the sales area. But why does it have to be products that are not available anywhere else? Here are two examples: M Classic Pikant Dressing (without oil) or 430 gr. tin of small potatoes. If Migros continues to flood its range with lifestyle products, I will have to do my shopping at another retailer in future, for better or worse.

However, the two products you mentioned are ones that only had a few fans. It is also always disappointing for us when we have to remove an item from our range. We've already written a few pages about salad dressing without oil. Why do you only see this post? We'd like our dressing back, please. Tomorrow is the neighborhood party. My boy has already declared: I won't eat a cucumber salad without Pikant Sauce. A few years ago, Migros only sold this rich product in a few stores, so they can now take it out without too many people missing it. All they would have to do is write "without oil" in big letters, leave out the xanthan gum and offer it in more stores again. It always had fans! It's been around for 40 years, but I don't understand why Migros puts so many additives and thickeners in everything anyway. People don't want that anymore. I'm actually looking for the recipe that Migros promised us as a substitute.

That's a nice answer, but not on the subject of xanthan gum. I mixed my own sauce for the party. However, I tried the Anna's Best vinaigrette from Migros as a substitute for Pikant. It's not bad (it's expensive), but it also contains xanthan gum (although it's in the chiller cabinet) and only has a D in the Nutri-Score. It wouldn't matter if you had to shake the sauce. If you chill the products, there should be fewer strange substances in them!
Dear fellow sufferers who are still missing the spicy sauce without oil: If you add soy sauce to any salad dressing, it gets a delicious umami taste similar to that of the spicy sauce and then it doesn't even have the stupid additives in it that Migros puts everywhere. I also sometimes get annoyed when items are taken out of the range. On the other hand, if certain products are not available anywhere else, there must be a reason.
