I wonder why Migros is selling more and more branded products and Migros products are disappearing more and more from the shelves. I think that's a great pity. It hardly makes any difference whether you go shopping at Migros or Coop. I'd be interested to know if others feel the same way.

Our customers have many different needs, which we want to cover as far as possible. The introduction of any external brand always causes internal discussions. We always check carefully whether it makes sense to add to our range. Every introduction must be approved by an internal committee. The addition of branded products to the Migros range should continue to be the exception. After all, we want to inspire above all with our more than 200 own brands. They are our DNA and this is what sets us apart. We still produce around 80 percent of our goods ourselves and can therefore offer good value for money and meet the tastes of Migros customers. In addition to a few external brands, we have continuously expanded and developed our own brands in particular in recent years, with better recipes, new products and sometimes even new own brands. However, the latter has given way to a branded product (7up) as opposed to an own brand (Tuca). It's not always black and white. I also thought the stacking chips were a shame. I think Migros is supplementing ranges with branded products where the own brands are too weakly positioned on the market.
