When money comes before the customer
Wenn Geld vor dem Kunde kommt

Gottlieb Duttweiler laid the foundations for Migros in 1925 with five sales trolleys. He came to the customers.
Today, the customer comes to Migros and Migros decides what we should buy. I'm talking about the creeping reduction in the product range.
A number of products are no longer available in some stores. E-mails to Migros are not answered or are forwarded to the branch manager of the Migros store in question.
There are probably some of these highly educated people at work; the motto: Money Money Money!!!
When Migros came to our village, the municipality determined the sales area in such a way that there was room for the existing village shops as well as for Migros.
Today, after around 30 years, Migros has managed to get rid of the shops! Only Migros!
Now comes the second blow: many products disappear! The range is being streamlined!
First consequence: I look for another larger Migros where I can make my shopping list, because I don't go to 2-3 Migros (I'm not stupid!).
The result will be that in a few years Migros will also disappear from the village. The goal is only central Migros shopping centers. No smaller deliveries to villages. Some managers don't care how customers or older people get there. The main thing is that the till is right. It's the money and not the customer.
Dear Gottlieb, what happened to your idea?
