More "dabbling" with the Cumulus vouchers.

Weitere "Düpfelischisserei" bei den Cumulus Bons.

Guest

A few days ago I decided to buy 2 "top-ups" of 10 Fr each for a prepaid cell phone.

I happened to have a Cumulus 20 Fr voucher in my pocket.

As a lawyer, I first looked at the conditions on the voucher ... it says:

Cumulus vouchers can be redeemed in all Migros stores, all Migros specialty stores (SportXX, Outdoor by SportXX, Do it+Garden Migros, melectronics, Micasa), and Migros partners (retailers with Migros products), up to their stated expiry date using the Migros app at the checkout. Cumulus vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used outside Migros. The purchase value must exceed the value of the Cumulus voucher for it to be redeemed. Furthermore, Cumulus vouchers cannot be used to purchase other means of payment (vouchers, gift cards, etc.).

As MIGROS no longer has the good reputation I once had ... and because, unfortunately, you are often harassed and tricked with embarrassing quibbles at MIGROS ... I checked this text for "quibbles".

"Cumulus vouchers can be used in all Migros branches" is apparently without quibble ... the MMM where I wanted to buy the phone card is a Migros branch!

"Cumulus vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be used outside Migros." A phone top-up is not cash! The voucher can be used within Migros. I even make phone calls within MIGROS and I even enter the top-up code!!!

"The purchase value must exceed the value of the Cumulus voucher for it to be redeemed." Ok ... a "dotter" could pick on that. If 20 francs exceeds the value of a 20 franc Cumulus voucher .... I would have had to buy a "baking yeast" for 35 centimes if someone had "Düppfellilisgescheissert" ... but the yeast would have been good for my stomach, it's healthy and can really help when you're "sour"!

"Cumulus vouchers cannot be used to purchase other means of payment (vouchers, gift cards, etc.)." Oh my goodness ... a professional "dabbler" could really start splitting hairs here .... "Vouchers" could be used with great malice ... but my smartphone can't do anything with "vouchers" but only with "top-up codes" and these aren't gift cards either.

So I said to myself ... take courage ... nothing more can happen than that the cashier will tell you off, the rolling pins are not in the basement, but in MICASA, on the 3rd floor! And I even forgot that the two phone top-up codes would have cost me a whole 10 centimes less at Denner.

So I asked for 2 x 10 franc top-ups and wanted to pay for them with the 20 franc voucher and was even informed that I would then receive NO Cumulus points.

I was then told that this was not possible .... OK ... the cashier did NOT really tell me off, but you're used to a lot of things, she just told me quite clearly that I should know that you can't pay for "top-ups" for phones with Cumulus vouchers ...

As I couldn't find this in the conditions, I actually took the liberty of asking the Migros Infoline to clarify this ... but there was no answer there either. The great "form" apparently has a "quirk", or Migros Infoline doesn't want to answer.

I would have liked to know whether other Migros Cumulus customers also have such problems and whether the Migros management is aware that such hair-splitting annoys customers.

The people who want to lynch me here because of my alleged "insults" are asked to post only constructive, factual opinions here. And no smilies, please ... I already know that I am friendly, arrogant and irresistible.

I am also happy about insults with which "one" says all shame to me! ... but please go to https://community.migros.ch/m/Forum-Migipedia/Genug-ist-genug-braistuff/m-p/483479#U483479, which the dear "Emperor" has set up especially so that my critics can finally have a real go at me! A wonderful gesture from the Emperor, that he has implemented my idea there! It's just a shame that I can only give "Imperator" a single "Like" there! He deserves ********************************************************************************************** Likes .... au migrosVatter would have liked it, coopverdeckel!
