Opening hours and Migros restaurants

In La Chaux-de-Fonds, the opening hours of the Metropole Center and its stores (including the Migros restaurant) are somewhat "awkward".

In a shopping center there are various stores and restaurants ... which have fixed opening hours. For example, from 8am to 7pm. This means that I would have to be ADMITTED to the store at 8am. And since the store is in the shopping center, the shopping center has to open a few minutes earlier. A restaurant that is open until 7pm ... should actually close the cash register at 7 pm and then the customer can drink his coffee for another half hour.

In La Chaux-de-Fonds, the Metropole Center opens at 8 am and closes almost at 7 pm. It has already happened to me that I left the checkout at 6:58 p.m. and then, while I was packing my goods into my shopping bag, the concierge told me that I had to hurry because he was shutting down the elevators.

In "normal" shopping centers, I'm used to being able to go for a coffee at the end of the shopping trip and then leave the mall.

In this shopping center and in its Migros restaurant, nobody has obviously thought about the fact that people need to know WHEN they can get hot food, for example, and when there is only coffee and cake. However, neither the restaurant nor the various Internet sites provide any information about this.

The MMM Metropole-Center website is more than shabby and pointless anyway. This is not helped by the fact that the website of the Coop competition is also designed by terrible beginners.

And another thing: in cities like La Chaux-de-Fonds, there are often customers who live next to such a shopping center and who can't take a car to go shopping. they then need a way to park their shopping cart at an entrance to the shopping center. In the MMM Metropole, you can only do this on the first floor at the Denner, which closes its shutters at 7 p.m. at the latest. If you then take the elevator to the second floor to leave the shopping cart there, the janitor will prevent you from doing so or "nag" you.

PS ... so that no one here can claim that I'm just criticizing ... the web designer who created this "new message" dialog has received all the "stars" I could award ... Great work! It could hardly be better. It would be nice if he would take care of the terrible form from the Migros Infoline.
