Why are products from Aus der Region für die Region not included in the sustainability share? In my opinion, I buy sustainably when I buy regionally and therefore also seasonally.

Hello Findus11 The label "From the region. For the region." does not count towards the Cumulus sustainability share. "From the region. For the region." is first and foremost a label of origin. This means that the products and the ingredients of the products come largely from the region in question. This label is regularly checked by external bodies. However, only in terms of compliance with specifications regarding origin, production method and added value. Not, however, with regard to the defined sustainability criteria. This is the reason why the label was not included in the Cumulus sustainability share. Best regards Peter
