Good evening dear appreciators of Ice Tea Migros™. After having had a lot of fun reading your Twitter (links in example above) and their masterful responses full of humor, I first wanted to congratulate the person(s) in charge of the account and their willingness to be close to consumers loyal to your chain of stores present in our Helvetic land.
However, a tweet from a certain Smily_san caught my eye more than the many jokes. It goes as follows: https: //twitter.com/MigrosVaud/status/829376586579329025
This dear young man (or woman?) raises a very sensible question: will there be a Migros-sponsored e-sports team in the near future? As you probably know, in the same way as classic sports such as soccer or tennis, electronic sports - which I'll call eSports from now on - have been growing by leaps and bounds over the last few years, particularly across the Atlantic among our "friends" trying to build walls (the USA, that is). So, my question, as silly as it may seem, seems to me to be quite pertinent in view of our current society and especially young people ready to indulge in great competitions! Just imagine a video-game tournament where players proudly sport the sky-blue colors of Migros™ Ice Tea on a magnificent t-shirt! Each player could also quench their thirst between games with your oh-so-delicious Ice Tea! An effective product placement, which I'm sure could boost sales in the weeks following the team's creation! eSport is booming, and Migros shouldn't hesitate to jump at the chance to help it achieve much-deserved growth in Switzerland!
Dear all, thank you in advance for your attention to this post, and cheers!
