Ever since I discovered this great own-brand oil, it has always been part of my basic range at home.
Unfortunately, it has now been replaced by one from the "Monini" brand.
Not a good replacement at all :( This one tastes almost exclusively of olive oil.
Please bring back the old one! There is nowhere else that offers such a great
chili and garlic oil.

Nice to read that you liked our oil so much. In order to keep our range up to date, we sometimes have to remove older products from our range and replace them with other, newer products. We usually make sure that we replace products that are less popular. I am sorry that it was your favorite oil that was affected.
I'll be happy to pass on your concerns to the product managers, but I can't promise that they will include it in the range again.
Perhaps there are other Migipedia members who miss this particular oil?

I see this exactly the same as Nikit-a. We loved the Migros Premium Chili and Garlic Oil! I have already visited various Migros branches in search of the oil! But unfortunately without success! :(
The Monini oil is really not comparable at all. It has an extreme olive oil taste, is not really spicy and the garlic taste is very artificial.
Please bring back the old chili garlic oil from the Migros Premium line!

8 years since this post and apparently little response. Nevertheless, my 5 cents: I don't know the old garlic chili oil. I was actually looking for a pure chili oil to give my pizza that certain zing, but had to switch to the Monini product because my Migros store didn't have anything else on offer. Unfortunately, this was a very poor choice. I wouldn't have noticed a strong olive oil flavor as it would have been more desirable. But the garlic flavor in this oil is so penetrating and artificial that 3-4 drops on the pizza slice mask all other flavors. But the spiciness is still missing. The bottle is probably going to the recycling center three quarters full.

Our experience with Monini oil has been good so far and it is popular with our customers - so we are all the more sorry that you don't like it. As it is a third-party brand, we don't have much influence on the composition, but as I said, the oil is currently popular. We therefore have no plans to remove it from our range in the near future.
