Dear Migro team, why are multiple packs always packed with various packaging materials? For example, the current Pelati 6 cans are packed with a cardboard base and plastic. I am annoyed every time that I am virtually "forced" to buy waste because of my family budget. With today's technology, surely it would be possible to program the checkout accordingly and deduct the discount when buying 6 Pelati cans. That always works well with 2 for 1 detergents. We are aware that this leads to more waste. That's why we use as little packaging material as necessary, which is not only environmentally friendly but also cost-effective. Unfortunately, it happens time and again that campaigns lead to misunderstandings. This is particularly the case when products are not packaged separately but lie loose in the display. Like Astrid-C, I've been very annoyed by this issue. I think it's very clear and easy to understand when it's written on the shelf. But you're obviously not concerned with sustainability here, but with sales. And new methods simply need some time for all customers to understand them.
Good morning Astrid-C There are various promotions - if you buy two or more products, the item is sold at a lower price. Then there is no additional waste, - for items that are packaged with a sleeve or additionally in a sleeve, it is about intentional or forced actions to reduce the stock or to sell a product that was specially produced in larger quantities. The additional packaging serves as a seal. If this were removed, the normal price would have to be paid. It is therefore not possible to sell such promotions, e.g. Cervelats 5x2 individually. In this case, everyone at the counter would put the individually packaged products in the caddy, as they would keep longer than those with a band. Furthermore, (!) products that were offered in multipacks may not be unpacked after the end of the promotion and offered individually at the normal price! Best regardsFrederica

of course it's about sales! if you buy sustainably, you shouldn't buy individual portions anyway, but rather large containers. on the other hand, the question is whether it's even necessary to buy from italy - if sustainable/green, then consistently! - you can easily make your own sugo from local tomatoes.
