Dear Migros and fellow customers, why is a receipt automatically printed out during self-checkout? Your competitors are ahead of you, they ask on the touch screen whether you want the receipt printed and thus save a lot of paper!!! As a green M, why don't you get on this train too? LG Elisabeth

In order for us to be able to implement this, the new checkout system must be installed across the board, as adjustments in the checkout area are associated with high requirements. ...the topic comes up again and again... a revision would be long overdue... there would also be other issues: - e.g. Cumulus and payment with MigrosApp with only one scanning process... - Migros-App: larger code (scanning at the checkout often takes umpteen attempts...) - checkout automatically recognizes that payment is made with MigrosApp, currently it still requires the approval of the cashier...

At the same time, please subtly point out to customers that they should throw away printed receipts if they don't need them and not leave them for the next customer. Same with the baskets. Somehow, decency and respect have been completely lost. There really isn't a single day when I don't have to tidy up the remains of the previous customer before I can start scanning.

I know this situation well and I am very pleased to hear that others can throw away their garbage themselves. How you can just leave your own "dirt" lying around is a mystery to me!

Usually has its origins far back in upbringing. Therefore, hops and malt are lost in later life anyway... Unfortunately. So my hopes are not too high, but the comment had to come out.

In the meantime, you can log in with your main account and switch off the automatic printout of the receipt. Migros has done its homework!

I had my receipts suppressed what felt like an eternity ago. If I remember correctly, after being informed by Migros.
