Just heard on the radio: Swiss farmers have a lot of not so nice potatoes this year. Migros wants to sell a small quantity as "M-Budget". My suggestion: Why don't you try offering customers "imperfect" Swiss potatoes with an explanation (that you don't want to feed all Swiss potatoes to the pigs and that you want to avoid "food waste") - compare Coop with "unique". My prediction is that there would be many customers who would understand this and would be happy to do without perfection. It is high time to encourage a rethink and reduce food waste.
